Man Shot in Northeast D.C. During Attempted Robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was shot during an attempted robbery on Sunday afternoon. The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department First District is investigating this incident which took place on the 1000 block of H Street in Northeast D.C.

According to police “At approximately 5:28 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects brandished handguns and attempted to rob the victim. During the robbery attempt, the suspects fired their handguns, striking the victim. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle without obtaining any property. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspects and the vehicle shown is the vehicle police believe the suspects were last seen in.
