CLEVELAND, OH – a Cleveland man has been sentenced to life in prison and will not be eligible for parole for as much as 60 years after he was convicted and sentenced for sexually abusing Three Sisters ages 10, 12, and 13.

Two of the three sisters were reportedly impregnated by the man.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced Tyrone Hughley, 37, was sentenced to life in prison for the attacks that took place between June 2020 to August 2021.

“Few crimes reach the level of depravity as the ones committed by Tyrone Hughley. He sexually assaulted three siblings and impregnated a 10-year-old and a 12-year-old,” said Prosecutor O’Malley. “He has earned every day of his minimum 60-year sentence. I pray this family and these girls heal from this unimaginable trauma.”

According to police, between June 1, 2020, to August 31, 2021, Tyrone Hughley sexually assaulted three sisters at their residence in Cleveland. In late summer, the 10-year-old’s grandmother brought her to the doctor after she realized her stomach had been getting larger.

“It was determined that the 10-year-old victim was pregnant. In early fall, it was also determined that the then 13-year-old victim was pregnant. It is believed that she was 12 years old when impregnated,” police said.

An investigation conducted by the Cleveland Division of Police’s Sex Crimes Unit revealed that all three sisters had been sexually assaulted. The fetal DNA from both pregnant sisters was confirmed to be Tyrone Hughley’s as a 99.9999999% match. All other DNA tested was excluded as a match. Tyrone Hughley was arrested on November 17, 2021.

On September 6, 2022, Tyrone Hughley pleaded guilty to two of the three rape charges.

Afterward, Hughley was sentenced to life in prison with the first eligibility of parole after 60 years. He will be listed as a Tier III Sex Offender.
