HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.
“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Weapon violation
Laurel, 20723: 9300 block of Holly Brothers Court, Sept. 4 1:18 a.m.
A resident reported on Sept. 6 that he discovered bullet holes in a bedroom of his residence. Through investigation, police determined that the shots were fired at the above date and time. No one was injured.
Robbery
Ellicott City, 21043: PNC Bank, 8500 block of Baltimore National Pike, Sept. 6 5:44 p.m.
An employee reported that a male suspect disguised as a woman approached the counter, displayed weapon, and demanded cash. The employee complied and the suspect fled. No one was injured.
SUSPECT: Black male, approximately 5’8” with a heavy build, wearing a wig, black hoodie and black pants
Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21044: Macy’s, 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, Sept. 6-7 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by forcing open a door and stole clothing.
Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Elkridge, 21075: 7200 block of Elkridge Crossing Way, Sept. 5-6 overnight, tags
