ROSEDALE, MD – Police in the Baltimore suburb of Rosedale reported that a police officer shot a woman who was ramming her vehicle into nearby police cars.

According to police, just after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, a Baltimore County police officer was assaulted while working uniformed-secondary employment in the 8100 block of Honeygo Boulevard.

“Officers later conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the intersection of Philadelphia Road and Hamilton Avenue. During that stop, as officers were attempting to arrest the suspects, the driver of the vehicle began to ram police units and other vehicles with their car. During this assault, at least one officer discharged their firearm,” police said. “The suspect vehicle, which fled the location, was followed by officers into Baltimore City where it came to a stop in the area of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Officers took the driver into custody, rendered aid, and escorted her into the hospital.”
