Baltimore, MD- The Baltimore Police Department has announced the arrest of a 46-year-old man responsible for the murder of twenty-nine-year-old Aaron Adams on December 17th, 2021.
According to police, on December 17, 2021, at approximately 12:58 p.m., Central District patrol officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Laurens Street to investigate a reported shooting.
‘When officers arrived at the location, they observed 29-year-old Aaron Adams suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after succumbing to his injuries,” the Baltimore Police Department said in a press release last year.
Through the course of their investigation, Homicide detectives were able to identify a suspect and obtain an arrest warrant.
According to police, on Thursday officers conducted a car stop for a traffic violation in the 3800 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. 46-year-old Michael Harvey was subsequently identified and arrested for the open homicide warrant.
Michael Harvey was formally charged with 1st Degree Murder and is currently being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
