Columbus Police Department seeking fugitives wanted for attempted murder

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Police Department is investigating the attempted murder of Gregory Coleman a bar located on North High Street.

According to police, on September 5th, at 2:34 a.m., officers responded to a bar in the 1000 block of North High Street on a report of an unresponsive male.

“Responding officers notified detectives that a male involved in a fight outside the bar was transported to the hospital in critical condition,” police said. “Officers stated that when they pulled up on the scene in the Short North, the victim was partially lying in the street and on the sidewalk. A few people were standing around, taking pictures and videos of the victim. The officers were unable to locate any witnesses to the incident.”


Today, Columbus Police Department issued a fugitive alert for 32-year-old Chrystian Foster and 28-year-old Dwayne Cummings who are both wanted on charges of attempted murder.

“Thanks to tips from the community of the brutal assault of Gregory Coleman Jr. (posted on CPD social media yesterday), we were able to identify the two suspects who attacked him,” the department said.

Mr. Coleman remains on life-support.
