New York City subway slasher victim describes his nearly fatal attack

New York, NY- A 43-year-old New York City man describes his brutal attack while riding the New York City subway system. The man was stabbed in the back and then receive a slashing across his fingers and his hand while trying to grab the knife from his attacker. New Yorker Jeffrey Nelson is now recovering from a subway ride in New York City that could have cost him his life.

Nelson describes how he attempted to grab the knife from his attacker with his hand but was unsuccessful in thwarting his attacker on Monday.

The incident happened while he was riding the train to his job in New York City when there was an individual yelling at somebody on a phone nearby. Nelson said he simply asked the man to please lower his voice. That’s when his attacker got up and confronted him.


Nelson received a 3-inch stab wound to his back that fortunately missed his vital organs.
