Jackson PBA Thanks Mayor for Support at Annual Golf Outing

JACKSON, NJ – The Jackson PBA officially thanked Jackson Mayor Michael Reina at this year’s annual PBA golf outing and fundraiser at the Pinelands Golf Club.

The officers thanked the mayor for his commitment to funding the Jackson Police Department and hiring proper staffing to ensure the department operates at a capacity to successfully complete their mission of keeping Jackson Township safe.

And they have delivered. This year, Jackson was named the safest community in New Jersey with a population of over 50,000 residents.

“All you men and ladies in blue, thank you very much,” Reina told the officers. “I can’t thank you enough for all you do, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I’m proud of each and every one of you, thank you all, I appreciate it.”

The PBA presented Reina with an engraved token of appreciation.

After the event, Reina said Jackson has some of the best officers serving the town in New Jersey and credited them for the honor bestowed upon the town as the safest large community in the entire state.

“We couldn’t have done it without them,” Reina said.

On Saturday, the Jackson PBA will host its annual Pig Roast event at Pine Park between 12pm and 6pm.
