New York State Police issue amber alert for missing 16-year-old

PLATTSBURGH, NY – A 16-year-old foster child has gone missing in the area of Plattsburgh and Peru in New York state.

The New York State Police in Plattsburgh are searching for Connor McLean reported missing by foster parents in the town of Peru.

McLean was last seen on September 27, 2022, at approximately 8:00 p.m. near his residence in the town of Peru, NY. He is 16 years old, approximately 5’10 feet tall, and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue hoodie, shorts, brown slippers with socks, carrying a black backpack traveling in an unknown direction, and unsure where he is planning on going. Connor has family ties in the Plattsburgh area.
