Two New York City police officers injured in Bronx crash

NEW YORK, NY – On Saturday night, two New York City police officers were injured in a crash in the Bronx in the area of Jerome Avenue and East Fordham Road. The incident happened at around 9 p.m. The two injured officers were rushed to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to the New York City Police Department this morning. At this time, the NYPD has not released any details regarding the crash and said the officers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

After the crash, a police cruiser was seen with severe front-end damage underneath the elevated train station at that location.
