LINDENWOLD, NJ – Police in Lindenwold have arrested a 23-year-old man for the Friday night shooting murder of Isah Shaw.

Ronin Austin Nevels, 23, of Lindenwold, has been arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon for the death of Shaw.

According to police, on Friday, at around 9:52 am, officers responded to a 911 call for a person shot on Egg Harbor Road.

Upon their arrival, police found Shaw. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nevels was later located at a home in Gloucester Township on Saturday where he barricaded himself inside. After a tense standoff with SWAT and police, a crisis negotiation team managed to convince Nevels to exit the home without incident.

He was arrested and taken to Camden County Jail.
