Pedestrian struck and killed on Garden State Parkway in Toms River

Toms River, NJ- The New Jersey State Police today reported that a person who was struck and killed by a car on the Garden State Parkway on Sunday has died from their injuries. According to police, at around 7:20 am, a person was struck and killed near mile marker 87 on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River.

Durham investigation police shut down the right two southbound lanes.

At this time, the New Jersey State Police has not announced the name of the victim or any details relating to the crash.
