Two dogs, one puppy stolen during armed robbery in Laurel

Laurel, MD – It was supposed to be a meet-up to sell a dog to their possible future forever owner, but it turned into an armed robbery at gunpoint with three thieves waiting with three of the seller’s dogs, including one puppy.

The Annandale County Police Department said that on Sunday, at around 9 p.m., the robbery took place in the 200 block of Ethel Drive in Laurel.

According to police, the victims arranged a meeting with three others to sell a dog in the parking lot of Jill Lane and Ethel Drive, just outside their apartment.

Instead of buying the dogs, two of the suspects pulled guns and forced the victims to the entrance of their basement apartment. The two suspects stall two adult dogs and one puppy, then fled in a dark-colored SUV that was driven by a third suspect, a white female.

Tattoo arm dog Nappers are described as black males armed with handguns, with no further description.
