Two teens shot in Catonsville, both in critical condition

Catonsville, MD-

Two Catonsville teenagers were each shot at around 9:05 p.m. on Sunday. According to the Baltimore County Police Department violent crimes unit, the double shooting took place near a cottontail shopping plaza.

According to police, when officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old male both suffering from gunshot wounds. Police reported that the 16-year-old victim was shot once, and the seventeen-year-old had multiple gunshot wounds.


Police released a surveillance camera video showing a person walking up to the two teenagers, then two flashes of light from a gun were seen on the video.

At this time, the Baltimore County Police Department has not made any arrests or released any information regarding possible suspects. The accident remains under investigation.

At approximately 9:05 p.m., officers located two male victims, a 17-year- old who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and a 16-year-old who sustained a single gunshot wound. Both were transported to area hospitals and listed in critical condition.
