We own the science: Google manipulates Climate Change search results for United Nations

The World Economic Forum has declared, “We own the science.” This revelation comes after the organization revealed they worked with Google in order to manipulate the search engine results on the platform shown to users who search for the term ‘climate change‘ on the big-tech website.

Melissa Fleming, Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications at the United Nations said, “We own the science, and we think that the world should know it, and the platforms themselves also do. We partnered with Google. For example, if you Google ‘climate change,’ you will, at the top of your search, you will get all kinds of UN resources.”

Conservative YouTuber Mark Dice criticized the claim and said the UN’s stance on global warming has also been edited to remove past articles claiming global disaster by the year 2000 if climate change hasn’t been addressed.

Google did not comment on the claim that it manipulates climate change search results.
