NEW YORK, NY – New York City police officers aboard a Harbor Patrol boat rescue two people aboard a sinking sailboat. According to police, initial reports said the sailboat was capsized. Upon arrival Rescuers found the two people in distress as their boat was taking on water. The crew aboard the NYPD rescue boat was able to safely pull the two boaters from the water and transport them to shore.
