A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold in Toms River this week

TOMS RIVER, NJ – The New Jersey Lottery Commission has announced that a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at a newsstand on Route 37 just outside Holiday City Berkeley on Wednesday.

The ticket matched four of the five balls in the Powerball drawing. There was no winning jackpot ticket and now the jackpot is $550 million.

The lucky ticket was sold at News Plus on Mule Road.

Winning $50k tickets were also sold in Bergen and Salem Counties. One ticket was sold in Teaneck and another in Pilesgrove.


A $2,000,000 ticket was sold in Union County, and a $1,000,000 ticket was sold in Middlesex County.
