Over 400 New Restaurants Opening This Week Around the Country. Are You Getting Your Share of Business From These New Openings?(-)  Flhip.com has released its latest restaurant openings report, providing restaurant vendors with a sampling of fresh sales and marketing leads that can be found on their website.

La Jolla, CA – Atrium
Atrium. Restaurateur Tal Baum is adding to her portfolio of restaurants twice in 2022, with the coastally inspired Carmel in the Buckhead Village development and Atrium in Ponce City Market (where she already operates Bellina Alimentari). Set to debut this winter, Atrium will serve seasonally driven, veggie-focused appetizers, crudo, light pastas and larger entrees in a fun space highlighted by florals and tropical leaves.

Portland, OR – Bing Mi Dumpling and Noodle Bar
Portland’s quintessential jianbing cart – a Chinese crepe filled with things like sausage and egg – is exploring noodle territory with its first restaurant. The signature dish at Bing Mi Dumping and Noodle Bar is zha jiang mian, a Northern Chinese noodle dish with a salty fermented black bean sauce. However, the restaurant will also stuff dumplings with pork and cabbage or beef and celery, and fry rice with roasted duck and Chinese sausage.

New York, NY – Bar Cicchetti
Known for his appearance on Top Chef and popular restaurants in Los Angeles and Chicago, chef Fabio Viviani is opening his first NYC restaurant this year. Bar Cicchetti will be located inside the newly unveiled Motto by Hilton hotel and will offer Italian fare from various regions of the country including Mediterranean lobster ravioli, ricotta gnocchi with oxtail sugo, crudo, and more.

Washington, DC – Causa
Local star chef Frederik de Pue will soon debut an elaborate two-kitchen concept on prime D.C. real estate. De Pue says the 60-seat restaurant will feature a Bonnet rotisserie, with an approachable bar on the other side for anyone to enjoy. A rooftop area and about six private dining rooms with customized menus will also be available to rent for birthday dinners and business meetings. De Pue says opening should begin gradually at the end of January.

Mountain Brook, AL – Real and Rosemary
As a popular Birmingham favorite, the team at Real and Rosemary just announced a third location at the former Ollie Irene’s space in Crestline. This news came just before the statement from former Ollie Irene owners about their closing. On the bright side, the Real and Rosemary owners, the Carlsons, are veterans to the restaurant industry and are looking forward to taking their concept to the Mountain Brook community. This Birmingham opening is coming soon and should be open as early as Spring 2022. Hooray for wholesome food!

Cornelius, NC – Peninsula Prime Seafood & Steakhouse
Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails in Lake Norman’s Jetton Village shopping center will close Jan. 29 to make way for a new concept. Cambridge Hospitality Group purchased the restaurant with plans to make renovations and reopen in March as Peninsula Prime Seafood & Steakhouse. The news was first reported by Cornelius Today.
