Award-winning pizza brand brings world class craft beer, a crave-able menu, and a good cause to Rapid City residents this May

Denver, CO  (RestaurantNews.comOld Chicago Pizza & Taproom, a welcoming neighborhood restaurant known for its local and legendary craft beer selection, along with its delicious, hand crafted pizza and taproom fare, will open its newest location at 1718 Eglin St., Rapid City, SD 57701 on May 24th. This store opening will be the 1st Old Chicago in South Dakota and the 81st location nationwide.

Guests at Old Chicago can enjoy pizza made with scratch-made crust and freshly prepared ingredients honoring the influence of Italian tradition and American innovation. Old Chicago knows that pizza and beer are best friends, which is why each restaurant carries more than 110 local and legendary craft beers from down the street and around the globe. A beer expert is always on staff to guide guests to discover their new favorite pint through the World Beer Tour™ where they can earn OC Bucks towards future food and beverage savings.

One restaurant staple that is not be on the menu is their strong commitment to giving back to the community. Old Chicago Rapid City has partnered with Black Hills Works, and will be donating proceeds from the pre-opening events on May 20th to May 22nd to the local nonprofit.


Representatives from Black Hills Works will be on-site to help raise charitable contributions. In addition, from 5/24/21-6/20/21, Old Chicago will donate $1 from every Chicago 7™ Pizza sold, plus 10% off all online to-go orders (using promo code BLACKHILLS) to add to the Black Hills Works donation total.


To celebrate the upcoming opening, Old Chicago Rapid City will be offering free pizza for a year to the first 100 guests on opening day (doors open at 11am on Monday, May 24, 2021).
