Man hurled wrench at St. Patrick's Cathedral building in NYC

NEW YORK – Juan Velez has been charged with throwing a wrench through a window at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Friday, and now police are searching for him. According to the NYPD, on Friday, Velez was caught on a security camera system throwing the wrench at the building, breaking the window.
The target of the attack appeared to be Cardinal Timothy Dolan’s residence located on Madison Avenue, next door to the main cathedral.
Three people were inside the home at the time of the incident. Police are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime.
