Razor blade found in Halloween 3 Musketeers bar on Long Island

The Suffolk County Police Department is reminding parents to check their children’s Halloween candy after a student at an East Setauket junior high school found a blade in her candy.

Police in Suffolk County are asking parents to check their children’s Halloween candy after a 13-year-old at an East Setauket junior high school found a razor blade hidden inside a 3 Musketeers bar.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, a 13-year-old female found a blade in a 3 Musketeers bar on Thursday, and her mother reported it to the police.

The find was made at The Paul J. Gelinas Junior High School when the girl was trading candy with classmates.

Now, police are advising parents whose children were trick-or-treating this week in the Stony Brook and Setauket area to check their candy.
