Man carjacked and robbed while pumping gas in Northwest Philadelphia

Police in Philadelphia are searching for two armed men who robbed and carjacked a 65-year-old man at gunpoint while he was pumping gas at a Northwest Philadelphia gas station last Thursday.

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police in Philadelphia are searching for two armed men who robbed and carjacked a 65-year-old man at gunpoint while he was pumping gas at a Northwest Philadelphia gas station last Thursday.

Police have released video surveillance footage of the suspects in an attempt to identify them.

According to police,  at 2:27 AM, the victim, a 65-year-old-male, was pumping gas at Sai Gas located at 3301 York Street when two unknown black males approached him, and demanded his keys at gunpoint.


After a brief struggle, the suspects took his keys and $20 from his pants pockets. The suspects then entered the victim’s vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.
