Watch: Burglary suspect rips ATM from wall and drives off with it

A suspect who broke into a gas station convenience store at 6200 North Broad Street ripped the ATM machine from the wall of the business and fled the scene with it.

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A suspect who broke into a gas station convenience store at 6200 North Broad Street ripped the ATM machine from the wall of the business and fled the scene with it. Now, the Philadelphia Police Department is asking the public for assistance with identifying the masked ATM thief.

According to police, on November 3rd, the suspect entered the store, wearing a hood and mask by breaking a window.

Video recovered from the business shows a masked black male entering the business through a broken window at 2:40 AM. The male then went to the store’s ATM and began to rip it from the wall. The offender was later seen dragging the ATM out the door to an unknown vehicle.
