Trump says USA is a ‘failing nation’

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, reeling from election losses in the 2022 midterms, lashed out this weekend saying the USA is a failing nation.

Trump claimed the midterm elections were rigged and compared America to a third-world country.

“RIGGED ELECTIONS, OPEN BORDERS = Third World Countries. The USA is a failing Nation,” Trump said on his Truth Social app which garnered 33,000 likes in just 10 hours.

Trump went on to criticize ballot counting issues in Nevada.

“Now they’re finding all sorts of Ballots in Clark County, Nevada. They are pulling out all stops to steal the Election from Adam Laxalt. Mitch McConnell, the Republicans Broken Down Senate Leader, does nothing about this. He’s too busy spending vast amounts of money on bad Senator Lisa M of Alaska, when Kelly S is FAR better. Should have fought and stopped the steal in 2020. Gave Dems 4 Trillion Dollars, never used Debt Ceiling. He is the WORST,” the former President said.

The promised red wave of Trump-backed candidates never came on Tuesday, instead Republicans are just barely edging out control of Congress and could be facing a Democrat-controlled senate, pending a run-off election in Georgia and ballot counting in Nevada and Arizona.

Trump declared his involvement in the midterms a success.

“I had such great success on Endorsements, perhaps success like no one has had before, both for Republican Nominations and the General Election itself, and I continue to get Fake News, RINO, and Radical Left criticism, but seldom congratulations or praise. That’s the way it is, and that’s the way it will always be,” he said.
