MILLSBORO, DE – One person was shot when a gunman targeted a home in the 30000 block of Ayers Layne in Millsboro Monday night.
Police responded to a 911 regarding multiple shots fired. When they arrived on scene shortly before 9 pm, they located a victim who was shot in the upper body. He was transported to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
An investigation revealed the home was shot numerous times by an unknown gunman. There were no other injuries reported. Detectives are continuing their investigation.
No arrests have been made. The name of the victim was not released by the Delaware State Police.
