SOMERSET, NJ – The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office delivered 60 large boxes of toys and three brand new bicycles to the Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program. The department worked with the Toys for Tots program to collect toys and holiday donations to help those in need in the community.

“Sheriff Darrin J. Russo’s annual Toys for Tots collection helped make sure hundreds of kids have a happy holiday season with donations exceeding 60 collection boxes full of toys and three brand new bicycles,” the department said. “County Administrator Colleen Mahr and Sheriff’s Officers helped Sheriff Russo unpack and prepare the presents to head off to the United States Marine Corps Reserve for distribution.”

Toys were donated by members of the community. They will be distributed by the Marine Corps Reserve to underserved families.
