Eastbound BQE closed due to overturned tractor trailer

NEW YORK, NY – The eastbound lanes of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway are currently closed due to an overturned tractor-trailer. The crash occurred at around 9:30 am, and emergency crews are still at the scene.

The crash occurred in the area of Exit 33 near McGuiness Boulevard and Humbolt Street. Commuters are advised to find alternate routes.

At this time, traffic is backed up to the Kosciuszko Bridge.
