Armed robber shoved Severn woman against wall, stole ring off her finger

SEVERN, MD – A woman was robbed, possibly at gunpoint in Severn early Tuesday morning. During the robbery, the suspect forced a ring off of her finger.

According to police, at 1:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery that just occurred in the 8200 block of Severn Orchard Circle in Severn.

“The victim indicated that as she was walking from the area of the Orchard Food Market to her residence, she was approached by an unknown male.” police reported today.


The woman told police the suspect put a hard object, possibly a gun, to her back and said, “Give me everything you got.”

She didn’t have anything to give, so he pushed the female victim against the wall of a building and forcibly removed her ring.

After removing the ring, the suspect fled on foot towards Arwell Court. The victim described the suspect as an unknown-age black male wearing a black long-sleeved shirt.

The suspect remains at-large.
