NEW YORK, NEW YORK – According to the New York Lottery, a third prize winning Power Play ticket worth $100,000 and a third prize winning Powerball® ticket worth $50,000 were purchased in New York for yesterday’s Powerball drawing.
There were four matching numbers on each of the winning tickets, as well as the Powerball. Smokes 4 Less in Newburgh sold the Power Play prize-winning ticket. Mount Sinai’s Kings Mt. Sinai C-Store sold the third prize ticket.
The winning numbers for yesterday’s Powerball drawing were 1-4-12-36-49, with 5 as the Powerball. Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. Due to the Power Play multiplier for Tuesday’s drawing of 2, the third place prize – exclusive of the jackpot – has been doubled to $100,000.
