New York City cop arrested for DWI

NEW YORK, NY – New York City police officers had to arrest and charge one of their own early Friday morning. At around 1:20 am on Friday, police officers with the 88th Precinct in Brooklyn conducted a traffic stop to find the driver was also a cop.

37-year-old Andrew Lindsay, a sergeant with the NYPD was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while impaired by alcohol and refusal to take a breathalyzer test.

No further details were released regarding Sgt Lindsay’s arrest.
