NEW YORK, NY – In December and January, five robberies occurred throughout the city, and the New York City Police Department has identified a suspect in each of these crimes.

Usually, the suspects approach unsuspecting victims and forcefully take their stuff.

The police are asking the public for help identifying the male suspect in five robberies.

At approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, the victim, a 76-year-old woman, was walking down the subway stairs at the 86th Street/Broadway station when an unknown male individual approached her from behind and took her apple shopping bag, which contained an iPad and an Apple pen. The individual fled with the bag up the staircase at the north-end of the subway station.

A 26-year-old female was standing on the stairs of the subway station located at Fulton Street and South Portland Avenue, at approximately 6pm, when an unknown male individual approached her from behind and pushed her to the ground. The perpetrator then forcibly removed her Apple Mac Book Air from her hand and fled on foot southbound on Lafayette Avenue. The victim sustained lacerations to both her knees and refused medical treatment at the scene.

A 26-year-old female, who was walking in front of 1165 Kossuth Place, was forcibly removed from her hands by an unknown male individual on Monday, January 30, at approximately 3:45 pm. It was then that the individual fled southbound on Broadway.

The victim, a 73-year-old male, was standing in front of 115 Prince Street when an unknown male approached him and forcibly removed his Apple iPad from his hand. The individual then fled southbound on Wooster Street.
