Incident 1: Cambridge police investigating Tuesday night shooting
Incident 2: Shell casings found after shots fired in Cambridge

As Officers were walking in the area of Bayly Rd on Tuesday at approximately 11:15 pm, they were informed that another “Shot Spotter” alert had been issued for the 800 block of Park Lane. CPD and MSP units responded to the area to investigate.

Upon their arrival, no one was observed. The area where the shots were reported was where CPD officers sat stationary during the previous shots fired call. During the search on foot, officers searched for any victims, witnesses, damage, or evidence of the shots fired. Several spent shell casings were found in the roadway from the area of Park Lane and Skinners Court to the area of Rigby Avenue by officers.

The locations and spacing of the shell casings indicate that the subject may have been in a vehicle when firing the gun.

CPD Detectives monitored City cameras, which also captured the shots fired and a vehicle that turned off prior to coming into view while officers continued to search the area. T

hey found no victims or witnesses, and no damage was observed. The CPD did not receive any calls from any victims who were injured or whose property was damaged.

At this time, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
