Woman Kidnapped and Robbed in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. MPD is searching for two armed robbery suspects accused of kidnapping a woman and robbing her of $8,000 and jewelry in Northwest, D.C. Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened shortly after 2 pm on the 1500 block of Park Road. Upon approaching the victim, two suspects asked for directions. During the conversation with the victim, one of the suspects got out of the vehicle. She grabbed a gun from her purse and ordered the woman to enter the car.

The victim complied, and the suspect drove away while demanding the woman’s property. Police reports indicate that the suspects stole $8,000, 3 gold rings, and a necklace from the victim. A few blocks from where they abducted her, they dropped the victim off in the 1500 block of Newton Street and fled the scene. Police have not yet found the vehicle or the suspects.


Police described one suspect as a Hispanic female, approximately 5’7”, 25-30 years old, wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and red/maroon mid-thigh boots.

The other suspect was identified as a Hispanic male, under 5’ in height, over 40 years old, thin build, a cloudy left eye, goatee, wearing a white shirt with blue dots, black jacket, brown pants, and white shoes with red lines.

The suspects were driving an older model green minivan.
