Police searching for man who held gun to juvenile’s head in Lawrence Township

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ – The New Jersey State Police have released a sketch of a man alleged to have put a gun to the head of a juvenile in Lawrence Township.

According to police, on February 11th, a juvenile victim encountered the male suspect, described as a short, white male believed to be in his 30s, with a red-colored beard and wearing a dark hooded jacket.

“During the brief interaction, the suspect pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun with a dark brown grip and pressed it on the juvenile’s head. An approaching vehicle interrupted the suspect who then fled on foot, heading east on Iron Bridge Road,” the NJSP said in a statement today.


The New Jersey State Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred in Lawrence Township, Cumberland County, N.J. Pictured is a composite sketch of the suspect done by NJSP Forensics Imaging Unit.
