BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office levied another charge against a student involved in the bullying incident that led to the eventual death of 14-year-old Adriana Kuch in Berkeley Township.

The juvenile was previously charged with harassment. Today, the student was served with an upgraded charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault involving the incident where Kuch was severely beaten in the hallway of Central Regional High School.

Kuch eventually took her own life due to the bullying and harassment.

In the aftermath of the tragedy at Central Regional High School, the Central Regional School District Board of Education voted last week to continue paying Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides his $195,343 annual salary, even after he tendered his resignation.

The district said the decision to continue paying the now disgraced superintendent was made by district legal counsel Christopher Dasti, a politically connected GOP attorney.

Shortly after the death of Kuch, Parlapandines smeared the deceased teen and her family in an interview with U.K. tabloid, the Daily Mail.
