Suspect wanted for midtown McDonald’s attack

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with the NYPD’s Midtown Precinct are searching for a man wanted for a violent attack against two employees at a Manhattan McDonald’s restaurant.

On Sunday, police released photos of the man wanted for stabbing two employees at the McDonald’s located at 1188 Avenue of the Americas.

According to police, on Monday, February 13,at approximately 8 am, the unidentified male individual entered the McDonald’s restaurant and engaged in a verbal dispute with two employees.


“The male individual displayed a sharp object from his coat and began assaulting the two employees. A 32-year-old male employee sustained a laceration to the right arm, back and neck and a 36-year-old female employee sustained a laceration to the right forearm,” the NYPD said. “Both victims were transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition. There were no other injuries reported as a result of this incident.”

The individual is described as male, light complexion, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, medium build and was last seen wearing a black hoodie jacket, blue ripped jeans, black, red and white “Jordan” sneakers, black “Boss” winter hat and carrying a black book bag.
