BALTIMORE, MD – A Baltimore area nurse is feeling lucky and healthy after winning two jackpots in the same day. After scoring $11,000 at the Ocean Downs Casino the night before, she won again the next morning.

Identified only as a Princess Anne president, she won $100,000 the next morning playing an Extreme Cash scratch lottery ticket.

“I left the casino after I won around 1 a.m.,” she said, preferring not to be identified by her real name. “I bought the scratch-off the next day around noon. I was still wearing the same clothes. I guess those clothes are lucky!”

The nurse said she was home with her boyfriend when she discovered her $100,000 top-prize scratch-off win. The Eastern Shore resident called the winning moment “surreal” and said she was jumping up and down.

The 31-year-old is a certified nursing assistant who works 12-hour days. Her son now lives in China, so she plans to use some of her prizes to visit him more often.

The ticket was sold at Thirsty’s at 12020 Somerset Avenue in Princess Anne.
