Queens armed carjacking suspects sought by NYPD

NEW YORK, NY – A 40-year-old man sitting inside his parked Mercedes Benz on Sanford Avenue in Flushing was carjacked at gunpoint last Sunday. Today, police released photos of the suspects wanted for the incident and their vehicle.

According to police, last Sunday, at around 5:30 am, the victim, a 40-year-old male, was sitting in his parked white Mercedes Benz in front of 132-03 Sanford Avenue when three unknown male individuals in a white sedan pulled up behind the victim.

“Two of the individuals exited the sedan and approached the victim’s vehicle while displaying a firearm and forcing the victim out of the vehicle,” police reported. “The individuals then take the victim’s vehicle and flee the location to parts unknown. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.”

The suspects, described as males in their 20s, fled were driving a white sedan with a black passenger side gas cap, black roof, and black rims.
