15-year-old suspect arrested in knife attack against Dundalk teen walking to school

DUNDALK, MD – Police have arrested a 15-year-old juvenile for a January knife attack against another teen in Dundalk.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department’s Precinct 12 investigative team announced the arrest on Wednesday. Police used video surveillance cameras in the area to identify the teen wanted for the knife attack.

He has been charged with attempted homicide and assault. His name was not released by the police.


According to the BCPOD, on Friday, January 27, at approximately 7:45 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Leeway and Yorkway along the railroad trackers regarding a reported first-degree assault.

Detectives determined the suspect armed with a knife attacked the juvenile victim from behind while the victim was walking along the tracks en route to school.
