Armed Robbers in D.C. Caught on Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for help identifying suspects and a vehicle involved in an armed robbery that took place yesterday morning in Northwest, D.C.

Just before 10 am, the victim was approached by suspects at the 6300 Block of 5th Street.  A handgun was displayed by one of the suspects before they forcibly took items from the victim. The suspects then left the scene. As the suspects entered a vehicle, one of the suspects shot his gun toward the ground, before the vehicle sped off.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspects and vehicle. This case remains under investigation. If you have any information about this incident, please take no action but call the police at 202-727-9099 or TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.
