Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Vehicle Involved in Fatal Hit and Run

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Authorities are on the hunt for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that took place on March 8, 2023, at 7:42 pm, at the intersection of Civic Center Blvd and University Ave. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver or gray 2006 to 2010 Ford Explorer with an unknown Delaware license plate.

Following the crash, investigators recovered a portion of the vehicle’s right/passenger side front bumper and fog light. The vehicle was last spotted heading towards the I-76 east on-ramp from University Ave.

Police urge anyone who sees the suspect vehicle to avoid approaching it and contact 911 immediately.
