Two shot, including 16-year-old in Harlem

NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating a shooting that sent a 16-year-old juvenile and 26-year-old man to the hospital on Tuesday.

According to police, at around 12:49 pm, officers arrived on scene in the area of East 128th Street and Madison Avenue in Harlem.

Witnesses reported an unknown male individual displayed and discharged his firearm at a group, striking two victims at that location.


The teen victim was shot once in his thigh. The adult male was shot once in the leg.

They were both transported to NYC Health and Hospital/Harlem in stable condition. The individual was last seen entering 350 East 124 Street.



The suspect was described as a male with medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black vest, red hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black sneakers.
