VBPD Arrests 19-year-old Suspect for Shooting into Residence

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Police have arrested a suspect in Virginia Beach wanted for shooting at a home in the city last week.

At 7:46 P.M. on March 9, Virginia Beach Emergency Communications and Citizens Services (ECCS) received multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots near Dana Lane and Northgate Park. Officers arrived at the scene and found a residence on the 3000 block of Dana Lane with multiple bullet holes.

A suspect was tracked and located in a nearby park. Andrew Bleck, a 19-year-old male from Virginia Beach, has been arrested and charged with two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling, discharging a firearm in a public place, and reckless handling of a firearm.
