Police searching for serial groper targeting female workers at Staten Island Mall

NEW YORK, NY – Police in New York City are investigating a man accused of groping at least two women on different occasions inside changing rooms at the Staten Island Mall.

Today, detectives with the 121st Precinct released a surveillance video photo of the suspect.

The first incident took place on Monday, February 20th.

The 18-year-old female victim was working in a store inside the mall when she escorted an unknown male individual into a fitting room, and he grabbed her buttocks. The individual then fled the store in an unknown direction.


Then, on March 10th, the same suspect struck again. This time, the 24-year-old female victim was working when she escorted an unknown male individual into a fitting room, and he pressed his groin against her buttocks.

The individual then purchased an item and exited the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a male, 5’9” in height, and believed to be approximately 17 years old. He was last seen wearing a black skullcap, black jacket, green shirt, and white sneakers.
