Two Young Men Shot And Killed In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two young men were shot and killed Wednesday evening in Southeast D.C. The shooting happened at the 4300 Block of 3rd Street.

Just before 7:30 pm, members of the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the location to investigate a report of a shooting. Officers found two young male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were immediately taken to nearby hospitals and were pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

21-year-old Jalen Dyer of D.C. and 20-year-old Tariq Richardson of Maryland were identified as the victims.
