D.C. Police Searching For Vehicle Involved In Drive-By Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Thursday night in Southeast D.C. Police are asking for help identifying the vehicle involved.

Shortly after 10 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the 1500 Block of U Street in a vehicle. The suspect displayed a handgun and shot the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
