NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating a deadly attack on a 31-year-old man in Crown Heights that took place overnight. According to investigators with the 71st Precinct, at around 10:30 pm, officers were dispatched to the area of 712 Crown Street on the report of an assault.
When police arrived, they found 31-year-old Jerry Crichlow unconscious and unresponsive. Crichlow had a stab wound to his torso and multiple stab wounds across his body.
EMS treated him on the scene before being taken to NYC Health and Hospitals King County. A short time later, he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, no suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made. The NYPD is continuing its homicide investigation into the attack.
