11 Arrested and Illegal Narcotics Seized in Police Operation

ABSECON, NJ – A police operation targeting criminal activity along the Route 30 motel/hotel corridor in Absecon, New Jersey resulted in 11 arrests in the last 72h and the seizure of illegal narcotics. The Absecon Police Department organized the operation after noticing a significant increase in violent and narcotic-related crimes in the area.

During the operation, officers made nine narcotic-related arrests, including for cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine. In one case, officers seized nearly 2 ounces of methamphetamine, and the subject was charged with distribution of narcotics. Additionally, officers made a notable arrest of a subject who had previously been charged with aggravated assault against a 2-month-old child but had failed to appear in court.

The results of the operation highlight the need for continued enforcement efforts along the corridor. Due to ongoing investigations, names and details of those arrested have been withheld.
