Atlantic City Shooting Leaves Man Wounded: Police Seek Information

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On Saturday, at 7:40 PM, patrol officers responded to the area of Sovereign and Sunset Avenues for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and located evidence of gunfire but no victim. Moments later, a 33-year-old male victim from Atlantic City entered the emergency room at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. The injury is not considered life-threatening at this time.

The Atlantic City Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating the incident. As of now, no suspects have been identified, and authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward. The public’s assistance in identifying and apprehending the perpetrator is vital for ensuring the safety of the community.
