D.C. Police Searching For Armed Robber Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for assistance finding a suspect involved in an Armed Robbery in Southeast, D.C. on Monday afternoon.

Just after 1 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. An employee was assaulted and forced to the ground by the suspect. In the aftermath, the suspect displayed a knife and stole money from the cash register before fleeing.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect. If you have any information about this incident or recognize the suspect, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. This case remains under investigation.
